The only National League game of note was the Astros 4 Dodgers 1. Roy Oswalt pitched lights out for eight innings as the Astros continued their decent play of the last week, and the Dodgers continued their awful decent in the standings. [astros.com]
The Dodgers were leading the NL West a few short weeks ago, but have only scored more than two runs in a game twice in their last eleven, including being shutout four times (three in a row). They better do something in a hurry, otherwise they playoff hopes are over.
