Podsednik Deal Dead

The Scott Podsednik deal with the Chicago White Sox is dead, and some are saying it never had a chance of being made in the first place. Well, it's nice to know that Jim Hendry hasn't gone insane.
Podsednik in no way helps the Cubs. It wouldn't take long before he would be riding pine with Cliff Floyd and his rickety old knees.
