Just as We Started to Like Jim Edmonds

Jim Edmonds has been quite good since he got to the Cubs this year. So good in fact that most fans have started to forget that he was actually a Cardinal at one point. That is all likely to change though, with the news that he was married on Wednesday at the St. Louis County Courthouse in Clayton.

Why would that matter to Cubs' fans? It really shouldn't except that fact that he wore jeans and a t-shirt to his own wedding. Seriously Jim? Couldn't spring for a nice pair of khakis or even some corduroys? I realize it was low key. I realize you did it on a day off during the season and thus didn't want to do anything grand, but jeez. It also says they went back to his restaurant, F15teen, probably because T.G.I.Fridays was too crowded.

Next time remember that you play for the Cubs now Jim, if you want to do stuff like that you should have resigned with the Cardinals, or the White Sox for that matter.
