Scott Eyre has been traded to the Phillies

From The Morning Call:

The Phillies finally found a second left-hander for their bullpen.

This afternoon they acquired Scott Eyre from the Cubs in a trade that sent high Single-A Clearwater right-hander Brian Schlitter to Chicago. J.C. Romero has been the lone lefty reliever in the Phillies' bullpen most of this season.

Bruce Miles points out that the Phillies have agreed to pick up the $1.2 million remaming on this year's salary.

Scott Eyre will make his return to Wrigley Field on August 28-31 when the Cubs take on the Phillies in the 4 game set.

And 50 bucks says we never hear from Brian Schlitter again? Let's say hes does make it to the big club one day, does Ron Santo incur FCC fines for goofing up his name when he's all excited because Brian Schlitter can't get the ball over the plate?
